'Lost' is reminiscent of 60's folk songs. It is based on the premise that each person must find his/her own path through life - making decisions and facing consequences in their own way.

This journey started years ago, but I'm not sure from where.
I didn't have a roadmap and I didn't have a care...
and I didn't have a notion of all the crooked paths I'd cross

I've traveled many miles never wasted many days.
I've met some crazy people and learned from all their ways.
But the scarecrow and the snowman they don't make an albatross
from the corn fields to the mountains to the ocean - don't follow me I'm lost

I once asked for directions from a man who was old and grey.
He said I can tell you secrets son, but I cant show you the way.
Everybody wants a confirmation and a plan,
about half way through your journey son, you'll start to understand...

Take a look inside yourself to find out where to start
the destination's in your soul but the path is in your heart
just put your best foot forward and don't let your demons be your boss

I've traveled with compadre's, and set out on my own,
many times I've felt out of place and I made myself at home
I've soaked the summer sunshine and felt the winter frost
and my journey isn't over yet, but dont follow me I'm lost!

Many people ask me how to get to where I am
I tell them many bad descisions and many change of plans
but the Journey's half the reward and no regret is all the cost
